Sonia Fenton
Sonia Fenton was Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia Australia’s first major donor. In late 2013, Sonia visited the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital and met Dr Catherine Hamlin. Sonia was so touched by the plight of the fistula patients that she decided to make a major donation to the work of Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia. Her gift contributes to Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia’s prevention strategy – including training of Hamlin midwives and the construction of Hamlin midwifery clinics across rural Ethiopia.
