Catherine Hamlin Fistula Foundation supporters update COVID-19

COVID-19: We’re all in this together

Like the rest of the world, Ethiopia is being impacted by Coronavirus. Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia is a core contributor to Ethiopia’s health care system with a long history of training medical professionals in good health care and building expertise within the health sector.

Our amazing health professionals in Ethiopia are taking all necessary measures to protect staff, patients and students and will continue monitoring as the situation evolves. For now, due to the urgent nature of the treatment provided at Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia, our clinical operations will continue. We recognise there will be an additional burden of cost required to keep patients and staff safe.

We also recognise this as an opportunity to raise awareness in the rural communities we operate in to help keep them safe. Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia has been trusted by Ethiopian women and their families for decades, our commitment to them has not changed. Our focus remains eradicating fistula from Ethiopia. It has been heartening to know that our supporters are with us.

From 24 March supporters can buy from the Hamlin Shop online only. Our physical store in Turramurra and our office in Pyrmont will be closed to the public. Our team will be working as hard as ever though. If you need to reach us please email [email protected] or call 02 9440 7001.

Thank you for your continued support and for being part of our community.
