Project Zero is eradicating obstetric fistula in Ethiopia, woreda by woreda.
Following the hugely successful pilot in Ale Woreda, NO woman is suffering from an historic fistula injury in this district.
But with an estimated 31,000 women still living with the anguish of fistula, we need your help to roll out Project Zero in the next two woredas – Fedis and Serahiti – by the end of this year.
Dr Catherine Hamlin dedicated her life to the eradication of obstetric fistula. By partnering with us, you can help make it happen sooner.
It costs $250,000 to implement Project Zero in a single woreda.

They can be cured, but first they must be found.

Prevention
Our goal is to establish a midwifery clinic in every woreda. Improved maternal healthcare means fewer women will sustain this horrific birth injury in future.
Education
You can help increase community awareness on the importance of medical care during pregnancy, safe delivery methods and treatment options for women.
