Hamlin Impact Report: July-December 2021

It is a pleasure to share this update about treatment results at Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia with you. We have so much to be thankful for.

In the six months from July to December 2021, Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia have changed the lives of more than 1,100 women. This is thanks to the Hamlin team’s clinical skills and steady support from donors. Ethiopia is going through challenging times with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and upheaval. With Dr Catherine Hamlin’s strong foundation and our loyal staff, we have ensured the Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia Clinical Team can provide continuity of medical services with minimal interruptions.

The Treatment Dashboard is used to record patient admission rates, the number and type of surgical procedures undertaken, the fistula closure rate, the incontinence cure rate, and the number of patients and outpatients discharged at each of Hamlin’s fistula hospitals. Click here to see our full Treatment Dashboard.
