Our hospital network

Renovations of the Dr Reginald Hamlin Operating Theatre at the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital have been completed.

The addition of a new operating room and instalment of a C-arm machine will give the team access to high quality, real-time digital imaging. This will significantly increase the surgery success rate for complex cases.

In addition to the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital, the five regional hospitals established in Ethiopia due to the demand for fistula surgery have all been actively treating patients this year.

All six hospitals also provide a safe birthing facility where former patients can return for a clean, safe caesarean section delivery, free of charge.

Today, Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia is fully staffed by over 550 Ethiopians who continue Catherine’s dream of transforming maternal healthcare throughout Ethiopia.
